Life Journal Notebook

I love my Life Journals! It’s wonderful that there are fun color choices that help me stay motivated about doing my daily devotions. I only wish the Table of Contents were more aligned with the number of pages in the book- or that each book was matched for a quarter of the year coinciding with the the months of the year...

I am enjoying using my Life Journal. I like having the Reading Plans and the method outlined right there in the notebook. I love the cover and beautiful colors, elastic strap, and back envelope place to tuck notes. My one disappointment is the paper quality. My pens show through the thin paper. I'm using a different ballpoint pen or a pencil, but with better paper, I could use my favorite, comfortable pens.

I started completing the Life Journal July 1, 2020 with a virtual small group at my church. It has been rewarding as I am discovering chapters in the Bible I had forgotten or never read previously.

This is my second Life Journal. I first started with the Life Journal back in January. It is a GREAT way for me to start each day - with God. I love the way the Life Journal has each of the daily readings planned. It is very well planned. Thank you for this tool!

I've been using Life Journal for my devotions on and off for YEARS after it was introduced to our church family. Then there was the snack, meal, and feast reading plans, which I preferred, but I'm finding getting back into devotions with the shorter reading plan has been great with this version as well. The SOAP style has helped me go more in depth with my devotions than anything else I've tried. I do wish there was a pack of bookmarks with the reading plan for one person for the year, but the journals are so affordable that I've been able to purchase a new one as needed. I love the soft texture of the green cover I got. I find myself petting it as I pray before my devotions and getting more connected.

I have ordered several of these journal for students in my youth group, and, overall, I l like them. For the price, they are well made. The reading plan helps students to structure their quiet times. I had a few problems when ordering the journals, however. On the website, there are pictures of journals in a variety of colors. The colors in the picture don't match the colors available to select when purchasing a journal. Several students wanted blue or light blue journals, but there is no option for that on the website. Maybe I was missing something or didn't know how to select the color I wanted. I called Life Resources several times about this, but I never got to talk with anyone in customer service. I realize this is a ministry and not a business, and I appreciate the journals and other resources available. I'd just like to see the picture match the available options.

Love the SOAP principle in this book. Easy to use and apply. Gonna buy a bunch for my friends and worship team as well!
